There was an emphasis upon song much of which was modern pop, together with Cockney classics appropriate to this pantomime. The music was provided by an excellent orchestra.

As always in Milton Keynes, the sets and costumes (Terry Parsons), lighting (David Howe) and music (Matthew Reeve) all make outstanding contributions to a polished, professional, traditional and utterly delightful experience.

The unsung hero of the evening is Matthew Reeve – Uncle Matthew to the audience – whose witty sound effects and energetic piano playing at the side of the stage hold everything together.
